Manchester United have named their team to face Liverpool at Anfield.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has once more made changes to his side after the midweek game against Wolves.
The big news of the build up has been Marcus Rashford’s injury worries. The forward has been struggling with injury for the last few weeks and there have been rumours every way from saying the England forward would be in the team today, to talk that he will be missing for the rest of the season.
There are big problems elsewhere in the team – Ashley Young is absent of course after leaving for Inter Milan, so Harry Maguire captains the club for the first team since becoming permanent skipper. Paul Pogba and Scott McTominay are still injured, meaning United have once again had to go for Matic and Fred in midfield.
Solskjaer will be hoping his side upset the form book by inflicting Liverpool’s first defeat of the season; but perhaps the best likely result he can really aspire to is something less than a thumping.
