Manchester United have completed the transfer of Bruno Fernandes from Sporting Lisbon.
Fernandes has scored 15 goals in 28 games for Sporting this season.
Di Marzio reported the fee to be 55m Euros with 25m in bonuses to follow. Terms were agreed earlier this week and as this picture shows, today he has completed all the formalities.
Fernandes is likely to make his debut on Saturday against Wolves.
Personally, we believe this is a great deal for United. Fernandes is a brilliant creative midfielder who knows how to score, and represents a significant step up in quality from Andreas Pereira. At 25, his age gives him plenty of room to improve.
He will be the attacking player United have been crying out for in the middle, and although some supporters will be concerned that this may mean the beginning of the end for Paul Pogba, most accept that they needed a new player anyway.
He will hopefully make a great partnership with Fred and follow other great attacking transfers we have made from Sporting including Ronaldo and Nani.
